When loading bulky materials into a truck, what should you do to stabilize them to prevent damage to the equipment a potential injury to the truck operator? Start by placing a bucket load of loose material in the bed of the truck. Then place the large bulky material on top of the loose material. Then put another bucket load of loose material on top of the bulky piece. This method not only keeps the large bulky pieces stable but it also protects the bed of the truck from being damaged when dumping the bulking pieces into it.
